Founded in 1974 SART has been presenting musicals, plays, comedies, and more than 50 world premiers. This is a non profit stock theatre company that performs at the Owen Theatre located at Mars Hill College. SART also host’s the playwright’s conference known as script fest that draws many to Mars Hill annually. This is a wonderful place to come and watch award winning plays and have a great time learning about the Southern Appalachian culture.
